How to install a server for WeldRegister

In your router define a new Game/Application, in this case WeldRegister. Assign port 2001 to the application

Next assign the WeldRegister application to the computer on which the WeldRegister server is running. In this case the computer name is Esveld-3.

Install the PPCC software on the computer to which you assigned the WeldRegister application by going to D:\ECS_Weld\PocketPC\Pocket PC Creations version 5.0.5 and double click PocketPCCreations1.exe. Now start the server software by going to D:\ECS_Weld\PocketPC and double click Weld_MC35.ppc.

Now click Server Online and set password and port number (2001).

The server is now ready for use.

The first time the PPC should be connected to the server via Active Sync or Windows Mobile Device Center. Via Install on the server the software is installed on the PPC and also the WeldRegister application.

On the PPC make the appropriate settings according to the following screen.

The IP address is the external IP address of your router and the Password is the same as on the server.

Now everything is ready for use. When starting Monitor you can see which PPC's are online and which activities are being carried out.
